My Approach

You'll find coming to my practice is a bit different than other chiropractic practices. I don't jam-pack my schedule every day. I believe the only way to get you well is to spend quality time with you to understand your pain and how you're managing it in your daily life. With that information, I can decide the best treatment to get you better. You're not just a number to me - you're a mom,

husband, child, employee, athlete, retired Marine or grandparent. After thoroughly understanding you and your specific problems, I'll locate the areas of your spine that are not functioning properly and realign them, allowing your body to become more balanced. My approach is one that utilizes a variety of low-force chiropractic techniques that allow the adjustments to be delivered very gently and specifically. I take the time to make sure that every adjustment is specific to your needs.

Spinal Mobilization Methods & Techniques

Spinal mobilization methods and techniques DO NOT always involve twisting of the body or a forceful thrust. The goal is to restore or to enhance joint function with as little force as possible. Here are a few of the techniques I use at Trinity.
  • Activator Method: The Activator is a hand-held, spring-loaded, manual tool that provides a low-force impulse. With the patient lying face down on the adjustment table, I'll evaluate leg length, perform muscle testing, and adjust the spine or extremity joints using the Activator tool.
  • Thompson Drop Table: Using my hands, I'll press down quickly and firmly on a particular area of your spine while a section of the drop table falls, taking advantage of gravity to apply the adjustment. The table has different sections that can be raised and dropped in accordance with the localization of the spinal adjustment. The table only falls a few inches so it's not as scary as it sounds!
  • VF Adjuster Method: Using a electro-mechanical Adjuster, I vary the depth, force and frequency of adjustments to the spine. The Adjuster helps me introduce curve into the lumbar and cervical spine is a readable manner by helping the ligaments and other supporting tissues to return to a more normal condition.
